紹介
千変万化する豊穣の大地、そこは光の恵みに満ちたやすらぎの楽園です。
万葉のむかしから人びとは、草花鳥獣と仲間でした。
人は動物や花や月と語らい、空想上の龍とも交感しあいました。
ときには自然の厳しい営み試練を与え、その試練が魂を鍛えあげ、
よりいっそう美しく磨き上げてくれました。
いま私は、富士山のふもとの駿河平のアトリエで、
想念の宇宙に集中し、耳を傾けています。
自然界の雄叫びが、あるときは大いなる風雨となって山峡をかけめぐり、
いのちの輪唱のように激しくこだまします。
気象の渦が、導きいのち存在あらためて実感させてくれます。
煌きの閃光は、美の扉です。おそれを抱いていた少年のころ、
私は冒険心から空想の物語に立ち向かいました。
大銀河に分けいり、ファンタスティックなロマンスを両手で押し開けました。
地球が太陽のまわりを一回転したとき、四季の移ろいや恵みが、一歳分だけ少年を成長させます。
あのころは何もかもが感動的で、希望に満ちていました。
雲の運行が太陽の恵みを地球へ届けるかぎり、黄金伝説は語られつづけるでしょう。
煌く大地は希望のあかしです。
万物が奏でる四季の旋律は、咲きみだれる千年桜の狂おしさや紫雲の舞台にたつ富岳図、
天かける龍、森の賢者ふくろうなど様ざまな命変奏していきます。
美のステージで、貴方と親しく語り合いたいと思います。
Since prehistoric times, man has had a close relationship with the flora and fauna of the world.
We have talked with the moon, the flowers and the animals of the world, and are mystified by the fantasy of the Dragon.
The twists and twirls of the blooming thousand year sakura,Mt. Fuji sitting amongst the backdrop of the violet clouds, the Dragon, rising through the heavens, the sage of the forest, the owl; they perform the melody of life.
The garden of tranquility, overflowing with grace of light, rests in the beauty of the ever changing land.
It is this light that is the harbinger of beauty.
The ordeals of nature forge our souls, and refine them to be that much more beautiful.As a young boy, clutching my fear I pushed through the Milky Way, and stepped into that romantic world of fantasy.
In that time I was full of hope. Everything had a sense of wonder.
When the Earth had made one full revolution around the sun, the passing of the seasons had aged the boy one year.
Now, in my Surugadaira studio, at the foot of Mt. Fuji, I am constantly deep in thought and give heed to the call of creativity.
I am deeply touched by the call of the wild and the great winds and rain that frequent the gorges of Mt. Fuji.
The maelstroms of the skies bring forth in me a renewed sense of life.
The warm glow upon the land brings hope to us all.
As long as the passing of the clouds bestows the sun’s nourishing light to the Earth, I will go on telling tales of the Golden Legend.
It is my sincerest wish to recount to you all the beauty of this world.
